TEXT OF SPEECH

Hello, my name is Calvin, yea that guy that can type over 100 words per minute. And am part of the graduating class of 2021. Some goals for freshmen year correspond to some goals I have in the entirety of my life.
My goals for academics this year are to hopefully get straight A’s in all of my classes. Another goal, to write more neatly, and hopefully survive Mr. Duston’s class. As I have been told that his class can be grueling. I also want to learn how to photoshop in EDA. Also, I have a tendency to not use the agenda so I hope I will this year. I would also like to get into as many AP classes as possible in high school so I can get those college credits I need. Also, I’m an amazing typist and my goal is to beat 120 words per minute. I’ve gotten to 102 so far. And when I get to college I plan to pick one course and stick with it.

Calvin's Goals For Freshman Year

My goals for my family are to not piss them off, make sure to obey their every rule, make them breakfast in bed every sunday, clean my room so they don’t yell at me, and to go on a nice road trip. Now, these goals were chosen because recently, I haven’t been obeying their every rule and making them breakfast in bed. As for the road trip, we plan to go to yosemite next summer. I also would like to get into a better relationship with my mom as we have been in a rough place for some time.
My goals for my friends, are to make new ones and to keep old ones. Because, without friends you can’t have a social life. And without a social life, you have no moments in the spotlight. I’m an introvert but sometimes I like to make people laugh. I would also like to have some good times with my friends.

Some goals for my Sports and Fitness are to swim faster and to get more active. I would like to swim faster because in swim team because I can swim two laps in 48 seconds when I’m supposed to swim a lap in 30-40 seconds. I would also like to learn to hunt, as it is a fun and very active sport according to my dad.

Many of us have goals, some of them aspiring, some of them not. But what matters is the goals we have, we achieve. Hopefully this didn’t seem boring to anyone.
